Pesticide Cheat Sheet

This morning I came across a great article about five pesticides that could be of concern with our food supply.  All five of them are pesticides that are also (or were) labeled for use on your lawn.

There is one, Chlorpyrifos, that was made illegal for use on lawns in 2002. The reason was because it’s mode of action was to destroy the central nervous system of insects.  Well, EPA found that it may do the same thing to people, especially kids.

How is it possible that this is still widely used in agriculture?

Its a great read if you have a few minutes….

PS….we would never use any of these chemicals on your lawn even if it’s legal to do so.  I’m afraid most of our competitors can’t make the same claim.
